The Strictly contestant told Look magazine: "Nadine moved to LA, so she wasn't around to come to nights out and dinners, so she was obviously going to feel a bit distant.
"But over the past year we've seen so much of each other that it feels like it's back to normal now."
With their new single 'Something New' unveiled and their greatest hits album Ten due to hit stores, Kimblerley spoke of her relief that their plans are public knowledge.
She said: "Finally, it's all out in the open and everyone knows what our plans are.
"Now we're starting all the discussions for our TV performances, the tour and videos. It's really exciting!"
But if fans are scared this could be the last hurrah for the girls, Kimbers said not to worry, reassuring fans they would never break up.
"I think we'll all know where we want to go and whether or not we go back to doing stuff on our own and then come back again… for us, it's just deciding how we feel and going year by year."
